Starting from 2025, we’ll be celebrating the centenary of the birth of Peter Brook, one of the most influential theatre and film directors of the past century. The celebration will revolve around a series of screenings, theatrical performances, workshops, and exhibitions, offering a multifaceted journey into Brook’s world. A key highlight will be the restored version of The Mahabharata, a landmark adaptation of the epic that remains a towering achievement in world theatre and cinema. Also featured is Tell Me Lies, Brook’s politically charged response to the Vietnam War, alongside Brook by Brook and The Tightrope by his son, Simon Brook, whose provides an intimate perspective on his father’s creative journey.
